Because FileMe is a hosted on remote servers your documents are off site as soon as they have been scanned in to FileMe. Your data is stored on multiple servers with fault tolerance to make sure that your data is always kept safe.

Customised Fields
FileMe allows you to define the fields that you want a document to be tagged with when it's saved. You can also specifiy if fields are required and change the ordering of the fields at any time.
